"I'll eat when I'm dead."

French luxury label Louis Vuitton went all Italian for the big reveal of their exhibit, which opened today in Milan. Fashion editors and buyers have swarmed the city for the annual fashion shows, but those who are might want a moment to look to the past instead of focusing on next spring, will have plenty to feast their eyes on. The exhibition features designs from the iconic leathergoods house since the inception of American designer Marc Jacobs in 1998.

It seems we've entered a new phase in new media's relationship with fashion. Welcome to the age of the fashion video. Our inbox is no longer filled to the brim with mere still images from different brands -- now we've progressed to the world of the moving picture. As fall approaches, many companies are thinking up new ways to push their products, and you start getting a sense of what they're especially proud of, and what they forecast as a big ticket item.

We've been a fan of jewerly label Ruby Kobo for quite some time now thanks to designer Yuvi Alpert's eye for mixing high-end precious stones with more commonplace materials like hemp (he works with a collaborator, the lovely Danna Kobo). When brought together, their designs are both casual and luxurious, the perfect high-low mix. It sure doen't hurt that Alpert is easy on the eyes, as well. The designers have decided to display their latest collection by taking to celluloid.

Just as quickly as the circus that is New York Fashion Week magically manifests, it just quickly disappears into the ether, leaving the Big Apple for international shores. While women's editors are off in London, and then Milan and Paris, before circling back home, the boys are recovering from the week's excitement. Here, we've asked our fashion director Grant Woolhead, fashion and market editor Brent Austin Coover, and features editor William Van Meter to pick their favorite moments from the spring 2012 showings.

Check out this steamy behind-the-scenes videos below...things start getting really sexy at the :30 mark, for those with no patience.

It goes without saying that Bally makes a mean pair of shoes. When we think of the Swiss label, images of beautifully-crafted leather dress shoes dance like sugarplums in our head, but there's so much more than that. Today, we took a peek at this video celebrating the company's 160th anniversary and we got schooled about the brand in a major way. For example, did you know that Bally created the pump, the space boot that first landed on the moon, and the hiking boot that first dominated Mt. Everest?  We sure didn't, but all three of those things are totally major.

It's hard to believe that we were able to wave down Brad Goreski this fashion week, seeing as he was a ubiquitous front row fixture this season. During one of his rare breaks, we were able to snag a moment with the stylist about trends he's noticing, trends he's loving, his Twitter habits, what he did on Fashion's Night Out and what we can expect from his upcoming TV show. Check it out below:

Jeremy Scott
’s shows are always a welcome dose of batshit during a Fashion Week that can be overly snooty, self-serious, or just plain boring. The crowd awaiting Mr. Scott’s Wednesday afternoon show consisted of a dude on roller-skates with Vulcan eyebrows, various drag queens and club weirdos mingling with the fashion cognoscenti –- you know, the usual Jeremy Scott gang.
