Ex-club-kid turned gay-nightlife-producer Joshua J has brought San Francisco's queer club scene to new heights for nearly a decade. Turning out weekly and monthly events since 2004, Joshua J does his part to make San Francisco's gay nightlife one of the world's most exciting and diverse. Working closely with other SF icons, such as Heklina and Juanita More, Joshua J blurs the line between underground and mainstream culture, making his parties irresistible to everyone, including celebrity guests like Jake Shears, Amanda Lepore, Cazwell, Raja Gemini, Ongina, Lady Miss Kier, Fran'ois Sagat, Kennedy Carter, and, most recently, Ke$ha.

His regular parties -- Booty Call, Big Top, Mr., and Stallion -- attract all types of queers: a combination of muscle boys, twinks, lipstick lezzies, drag royalty, fashionistas, and power daddies. Married to his work, this bachelor's true love is music and he can frequently be heard DJing his own events. When not waving his magic wand over gay nightlife, Joshua J is often found sunning in Dolores Park with his 9-year-old black pug, Maverick.
