Hamilton is Coming to LA

Jeffrey Seller, producer of the Broadway musical Hamilton, announced today that a national tour will open Spring 2017. The tour will begin in San Francisco at the SHN Orpheum Theatre with performances starting in March, and continue to Los Angeles at the Hollywood Pantages from August 11 to December 30.

The Grammy nominated musical tells the story of founding father Alexander Hamilton through contemporary genres of music such as hip-hop, jaz, blues, rap, and R&B. Hamilton's team also previously collaborated on the Tony Award winning musical, In The Heights. If you somehow heaven't heard about the show, just know that it's all the rave.

No casting information has been released for the 2017 tour; however the Chicago production has been scheduled to begin sooner, with performances starting this year on September 27 at the Private Bank Theatre.

Now, if only we could get tickets...
