Reese Witherspoon Would Do Another Legally Blonde Sequel (With Elle Woods as President)

Reese Witherspoon stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden last night and revealed she would be down to reprise her role as the bubbly and bold Elle Woods in another Legally Blonde sequel.

While on the show, Corden and Witherspoon brainstormed some big ideas for what Woods could return as, and came up with these: "She could be the President of the United States, though. She could be the first female president," Corden offered.

"She could be a Supreme Court Justice," added Witherspoon. "She could be a really great, powerful attorney. Or she could be in prison! She could be anything!"

The talks of a third Legally Blonde film aren't just jokes - Witherspoon told E! News in January that, "We've thought about it. I need somebody really clever to come up with a great idea and we'll do it." She continued: "It's a good time to do it. I think women need that kind of positivity right now."

Witherspoon is currently starring in our new obsession, "Big Little Lies," airing Sundays on HBO.
