Grace Jones Documentary The Musical of My Life to Premiere in 2017

With a life and career like Grace Jones', it's a rarity to do such an artist justice in telling their story. A new documentary may just provide the insight she deserves.

The Musical of My Life has been in production since 2005 at the helm of director Sophie Fiennes. It utilizes personal and live show footage to craft a multi-narrative tapestry of the artist's public and private lives.

"This project with Grace has been an extraordinary journey 'following the Yellow Brick Road'," Fiennes told Screen Daily in August. "We look forward to welcoming her audience to participate in our film and contributing to conjuring the Grace magic."

Although no release date has been announced, the film has been acquired by Picturehouse and will premiere in 2017 in the UK.
