Britney Spears is Set for a Carpool Karaoke Date with James Corden

Hot off the release of her eye candy-heavy video for "Make Me" and a wake-up prank on Jimmy Kimmel, contemporary pop royalty and Las Vegas resident Britney Spears is headed to the Late Late Show later this month, and she'll be letting host James Corden give her a ride to the set.

As part of the publicity tour for her upcoming album, Glory, Spears will be in the passenger seat of her own "Carpool Karaoke" segment on August 25, the day before the album releases. No word on what hits the singer, whose mainstream career dates back to 1998 with "... Baby One More Time," will be be belting out with the late night host, but cross your fingers for some gags and props. We're putting our money on some sort of snake for "I'm a Slave 4 U," maybe a fake diamond for the Titanic-esque proposal in the "Oops I Did It Again" video and, though it's a longshot, James Corden himself in a schoolgirl's skirt and stockings.
