Watch: Broadway Stars Perform 'What the World Needs Now Is Love’ on Maya & Marty

Some of Broadway's biggest stars from past and present came together on Maya & Marty to perform their newly recorded cover of "What the World Needs Now is Love," interspersed with powerful and moving images of people around the world standing with Orlando.

Stars including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Audra McDonald, Idina Menzel, and Sean Hayes recorded the cover last week as a benefit to honor victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting. The single is available for purchase at Broadway Records, and all proceeds will benefit the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida.
