Watch: Kit Harrington Apologizes for Jon Snow’s Fate on GoT
The television world collectively gasped during the previous season of Game of Thrones when Kit Harrington's character, Jon Snow, apparently died. After a heroic show of bravery the fan favorite was betrayed by his own comrades in a Caesar-style group stabbing.
Now, thanks to the cliffhanger at the end of last night's episode, fans can rejoice and think of the best way to craft their "I told you so" to naysayers. While it seems Snow did actually die, The Red Woman, or Red Crone at this point, Melisandre brought him back to life. "It's a massive season for Jon," Harrington told EW, having spent more time shooting on set than any other cast members and apologizing to fans for the deception. It can't be easy keeping the fate of one of the most popular characters on one of the most popular television shows a secret, but at least he's sorry, right?
