ICYMI: The First Teaser for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is Here

When Disney bought Star Wars from George Lucas, fans, like last time, were promised a new three-episode arc, this one picking up where Return of the Jedi left off. But unlike last time, Disney also announced plans for origin stories like Han Solo and Boba Fett, along with other films that take place in the extended Star Wars universe.

This winter we'll get our first impression of how well these side stories will be received with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The fist teaser trailer for the film came out last week and looks to revolve around Jyn Erso, a gutsy young girl in the Rebellion. The film takes place between the end of Revenge of the Sith and the beginning of A New Hope, where Erso is tasked with collecting data on the original Death Star. Watch below.
