First Look: The New Power Rangers is Here

Entertainment Weekly has just released the first look at the new Power Rangers. Although Elizabeth Banks's Rita Repulsa has not yet been revealed, the first photo shows Becky G, RJ Cyler, Naomi Scott, Ludi Lin, and Dacre Montgomery, pre-morphed.

Unfortunately they're in their pedestrian millennial clothing, but we've been promised a badass update of the original costumes. We've also been promised less offensive color assignments. This cast maintains the diversity of the original, but there will be no Asian girl in the yellow suit.

Perhaps we can hope for a boy in the pink suit though. Maybe a trans purple ranger? Hell, we'd settle for an original blue ranger cameo. We're dying to know if David Yost puts the "top" in "triceratop."
