Grimes Announces Rhinestone Cowgirls Tour, Hints New Album Is on the Way

After scrapping her fourth album and starting from scratch, Grimes has been mostly laying low as of late...besides opening for Lana Del Rey this summer.

Well now she's ready to headline again. Beginning this October, Grimes and Nicole Dollanganger will kick off their Rhinestone Cowgirls tour of North America.

The "Genesis" singer announced the tour via Instagram. She also apologized for the lack off all-ages venues.

"Also it's kinda my fault for wanting to make sure the album was done before booking these shows so some aren't all ages due to venue unavailability," she wrote. "[D]oing all age shows in the spring in bigger venues."

She also hinted that she'll be releasing new stuff in the near future. "Re: new stuff -- will drop some trax b4 tour. still mixing and working on vids cuz I'd like it all to be perfect 4 yall."
