Watch: Jennifer Hudson and Cynthia Erivo Perform a Special Version of 'The Color Purple'

This arrangement of the title song from the musical Tony-nominated score is certainly going to whet the appetites of JHud fans -- along with those eagerly waiting to experience Cynthia Erivo's musical talents. Erivo was the breakout star of John Doyle's critically acclaimed London production that is transferring to Broadway this fall.

The Color Purple begins previews Nov, 10 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 W. 45th St.), New York City, and it will officially open Dec. 10. Watch the video below:
