Ne-Yo Releases First Track Off Star-Studded We Love Disney Album

There was a time when, with each of Disney's animated features, they released a radio version of signature song from that film. Peabo Bryson lent his soaring vocals to the radio version of "Beauty and the Beast" with Celine Dion, and "A Whole New World" with Regina Belle in the '90s. And, while Idina Menzel's original version of "Let It Go" became a radio hit, Disney wants everyone to know that they can still bring the stars together like none other.

At the D23 Expo last week, the convention put on by Disney for all things Disney, the company announced the We Love Disney album, which brings notable artists of today together to sing classic Disney songs from Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King and more. Ne-Yo released the first track from the album, his cover of "Friend Like Me" which was originally made famous by Robin Williams in Aladdin.
