Former Navy Sailor Says He Was Forced to Leave Military for Being Transgender

Don't Ask Don't Tell may officially be gone, but its effects are still rippling through the military.
Landon Wilson, a former Navy sailor, says he was forced to leave his branch of the military for being transgender. Wilson transitioned while serving. Tonight he says that "it was probably the only time that I knew 100 percent that I could focus on my job without worrying about my gender coming into play."
The episode airs on CBS tonight at 6:30 ET/PT.
