Todrick Hall Talks Beyoncé and Bringing His YouTube Process to MTV

Todrick Hall

The choreographer and prince of parody helped MTV get a Guiness World Record, and soon he’ll get a time slot.

Where some YouTubers cook, prank, vlog, or travel, Todrick Hall specializes in well-produced music and dance videos. After popular parodies and mashups like The Hungry Games, Mean Gurlz, Mean Boyz, and The Wizard of Ahhhs, Hall has cemented himself as a veritable YouTube celebrity.

Now Hall, an Out "Hot List" alum, will be featured on his own MTV show about the making of his videos and what goes on behind the scenes. Hall spoke with Swagger New York during his Beyoncethon about working with the Bey, and what he hoped to get out of his docu-series:

"I hope I can be the reason why kids launch their own YouTube channels. I want people to know that were in we're in America in 2015 and nothing is impossible. I'm a black gay man from a farm, getting all these opportunities. I have a TV show and it's not even an issue because that's the world we live in today. I want our show to inspire YouTube kids, and every week remind people that they can get up and do their own thing. The world is your oyster, get up and decide what you want and put forth energy towards your goal, and it can happen. I genuinely believe that."

The premiere date of Hall's MTV show has yet to be announced. But the sooner the better.
