1. The comedy documentary Knock Knock, It's Tig Notaro premiered yesterday at SXSW. The film, which "follows Notaro's travels as she embraces her most loyal fans by creating unique and intimate comedy experiences in their homes, backyards, barns, and basements" will air on Showtime April 17. In addition to her acclaimed stand up routines, Notaro has also appeared in a number of LGBT positive projects, such as Transparent, The Sarah Silverman Program, and Subgatory. It was also announced that she'll be hosting the 26th GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles later this month. [THR | GLAADblog]

2. The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that the laws which require transgender people to undergo sterilazation prior to transitioning are "incompatible with human rights." Currently, 21 European countries, including France, Italy, and Turkey, have such laws. [Gay Star News]

3. On Ellen this week, Lena Dunham reiterated her determination not to marry her boyfriend, Jack Antonoff, until marriage equality is realized in all 50 states. Dunham, whose sister is gay, explained: "The idea of having a celebration that can't be fully shared among all the people in my life and all the people that we love just doesn't really feel like a celebration at all." 4. A new survey reveals record support for same-sex marriage in the United States. At 59%, support is nearly double the 30% recorded in 2004. [Wall Street Journal]

5. A jury found that Pharrell and Robin Thicke copied "Blurred Lines." They awarded Marvin Gaye's children nearly $7.4 million. [ABC News]
