Don't Miss Movie: The Teenage Romance of Boys

Who says women can't understand what it feels like to be a young teenage boy falling in love for the first time? With Boys, Dutch director Mischa Kamp has created an intimate portrayal of two teen track stars as they discover their feelings for one another as they train for the biggest relay race of their young lives. Originally shot for TV, this film is not some trite, soft-porn entry for guys to enjoy due to the eye candy (you know what we're referring to), it manages to explore young love as few filmmakers can manage. The movie stars Gijs Blom as Sieger, a thoughtful 15-year-old, and Ko Zandvliet co-stars as his love interest, the outgoing Marc. And yes, it's the time they spend together at a quiet pond, kissing and fondling, that may break your heart with its tenderness. We rarely see young love between boys glimpsed so sweetly.
