LISTEN: Sam Smith Covers Amy Winehouse

Sam Smith recently released a haunting rendition of Amy Winehouse's classic song, "Love Is a Losing Game." Smith is no stranger to the late English singer's collection of songs--he has covered "Tears Dry on Their Own" many times in concert--he has shared his version with BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac.

The release of this cover comes on the heels of his re-release of his first album, In the Lonely Hour (Drowning Shadows Edition). With their cutting lyrics, gripping melodies, and raw emotion, Amy Winehouse's songs have always been ripe for other artists to sing, so it's only natural that Smith has taken to recording a version of her song for his album.
