WATCH: Zac Efron and Robert De Niro Go Hard in Dirty Grandpa Trailer

Whenever there's a generation-leaping comedy it always seems to be grandma who gets to let loose and have all the fun (we're looking at you, Susan Sarandon in Tammy), but this time around it's grandpa's turn.

Shortly after his wife's funeral, Dick (Robert De Niro) convinces his grandson Jason (Zac Efron) to drive him down to Florida, where the couple spent time together every year. Instead the pair ends up on some sort of grief-fueled bender that takes them to Daytona Beach for, what else, spring break. Cue the usual case of the grandparent trying to get the grandchild to lighten up and embrace his youth. And if that means flexing shirtless on stage for countless strangers and us, who are we do judge?

Other things of note from the trailer are Lenore's (Aubrey Plaza) obsession with Dick, and Dermot Mulroney playing Efron's father. The lineage of De Niro, to Mulroney, to Efron makes for a very believable mix of fictional genes of attractiveness. Watch below.
