Nathan Lane, Rachel Bloom Go Full Broadway Performing Inappropriate Musicals on Corden

Inappropriate Musicals, The Late Late Show with James Corden

Terminator, The Exorcist, and Se7en had never been put to song before…maybe we should have kept it that way.

Anyone who's seen The Producers knows that putting together a Broadway musical is an expensive proposition. Recently the big machers on the Great White Way have sought to minimize their financial risk by making shows from already successful songs (read: Mamma Mia) and stories (Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark).

While that might work for a good many things, it's not a sure-fire bet. Case in point: the inappropriate musicals from last night's Corden. Musical theater legend Nathan Lane and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star, Rachel Bloom, stopped by The Late Late Show to put some film classics to music.

What we get are "I'll Be Back," "Mr. Exorcist Man," and a very jaunty version of the "what's in the box" scene at the end of Se7en. Should these be made? Hell no, but it's a good thing they tried.
