It was the wedding of "the decade," according to a guest at the wedding of Jordan Roth, the president of Jujamcyn Theaters, and Richie Jackson, a talent manager and an executive producer of the Showtime series Nurse Jackie. They were married at Al Hirschfeld Theater on September 9 in a production worthy of the theater-loving couple with officiant, Sheera Ben-David, a cantor and cabaret singer. The ceremony was traditionally Jewish, except that each of the men stepped on a glass.

According to the New York Times, 600 guests were in attendance, and watched the nuptials as Jackson, 46, and Roth, 36, were serenaded with Bach and Pachelbel performed by a 22-piece orchestra. The couple walked down the center aisles with their parents: Carol Jackson, a retired teacher, and Paul Jackson, a retired travel editor; and Daryl Roth, the Tony-winning producer, and Steven Roth, the chairman and founder of Vornado Realty Trust.

Also, at centerstage stood Jackson Foo Wong, 12, the son with whom Jackson shares parental
responsibilities with B. D. Wong, his former partner, and now also with Jordan Roth.

According to sources, guests included David Geffen, Donald Trump, Les Moonves, Lloyd Blankfein, Mickey Drexler, Tyra Banks, Candice Bergen, Bryant Gumbel, Edie Falco, Judith Light, Sean Hayes, and Barbara Walters. One guest told the NY Post that "Melissa Etheridge surprised the crowd with an original song that she wrote about Jordan and Richie."

The couple wore bespoke Prada suits to the ceremony.
