“I feel like I have such a future ahead and that it’s not ending,” says Trusnovec, now the most senior principal dancer of the revered Paul Taylor Dance Company. This past year, as the company moved on up from its home at Manhattan’s City Center to Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater, Trusnovec could be seen leaping onstage in two new works, Gossamer Gallants and The Uncommitted, as well as leading favorites like Beloved Renegade. “The huge thing is my 15th anniversary with the company,” he says regarding the upcoming season, the company’s second at its new haunt. Before that, Trusnovec will participate with fellow Paul Taylor dancer Michelle Fleet in one of his favorite charities: Dance from the Heart, an event that benefits the organization Dancers Responding to AIDS.

Photographed at BathHouse Studios in New York City on September 10, 2012
