Gentlemanly Pursuits: The Wedding

How to dress (and prepare) for the party—even if you're not the one getting hitched

Above photo: Photos.com. All other photography by Joshua Scott

With all the pressure resting on the newlyweds and their parents, a wedding guest's only concern is to dress well, bring the right moves, and revel in the endless supply of champagne. After the vows have been exchanged, the ensuing celebration needs to measure up to the romance being feted -- we're talking an elegant, if slightly boozy bash in a lush setting right out of an F. Scott Fitzgerald novel. But in all this good humor, be mindful of retaining a certain sense of class. Your future someone might be closer than you think, and the next ceremony could be yours.
