The Aug. 15 episode will focus entirely on the victims and survivors of the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub this summer.

Almost two months after the tragic shootout at gay nightclub Pulse in Orlando, local nightlife professionals and patrons alike still feel fear every time they step into a bar or club.

"There's guns all the time," Natalia, an Orlando bartender, says.

In an exclusive clip from MTV, True Life: Orlando tells the aftermath facing the city's nightlife industry after Omar Mateen gunned down 49 LGBT people and allies in his attack at Pulse--the worst single-person mass shooting in U.S. history.

Shock is still common among those interviewed, who confess that guns are common in clubs and that security and metal detectors have brought them a little more comfort.

"It kind of makes me feel safer when you're going," Brett Rigas, who lost his partner, Frank Hernandez at Pulse, says.
