Spend Your Valentine’s Afternoon with Flowers and Spiked Tea

Valentine's Day

You have plenty scheduled for Valentine’s evening, but will you do before dinner?

The goings-on of a typical Valentine's Day are tried and true: an adorable breakfast in bed, followed by a day of canoodling, and then one of the most romantic dinners you'll eat all year. But Valentine's Day isn't just about evening festivities -- it's not called "Valentine's Evening" for a reason! So why not find something unique, easy-going, and equally romantic to fill the afternoon?

Whisper Editions and Pretty Streets Botanicals, based out of Brooklyn, offer a one-time floral arranging workshop on Valentine's Day at the Lodge in the Seaport District. Kristen Ossmann, the brains behind Pretty Streets, will be teaching the class that promises to be helpful to people of all levels and abilities.

Included in the cost of the workshop are clippers, vessels, and the flowers themselves. There will be drinks -- tea from Field Apothecary and Herb Farm (optionally spiked) -- to help set the tone of the class.

You can register for the class here.
