Ikea pulled a feature on a British lesbian couple from the Russian edition of its monthly magazine. The story spotlighted Clara and Kirsty and their Ikea-filled interiors.
"We're two mums bringing up our baby boy in Clara's loft," Kirsty says in the story. "We're not your average family in your average home, but if my nan can raise two sons in a tiny caravan, we can make it work in our little loft."
Ikea, however, allegedly feared the feature would be considered "homosexual propaganda," and as we already know, Russia isn't too keen on anything gay.
A spokeswoman for Ikea told Sweden's Aftonbladet newspaper: "We have two guiding principles in the communication we distribute from Ikea. The first is home interior design. The second is following the law."
Ikea has supported same-sex couples in the past -- they even released a gay-friendly ad way back in 1994. But this most recent stint calls into question the company's commitment to LGBTQ rights.
