Scissor Sisters' queer frontman Jake Shears, who delivered us anthems like "Let's Have a Kiki" and "I Don't Feel Like Dancin," announced today he's going solo.
The singer/songwriter will embark on a five-date southern tour, including dates in Louisville, Atlanta, Nashville, Birmingham and New Orleans. Dubbed "The First Tour," tickets to see Shears live are now available online.
Last weekend, Shears performed at Coachella on stage with Sofi Tukker, the rising New York-based duo, whose breakout Soft Animals EP spawned the punchy guitar-driven single, "Drinkee."
