Is Rihanna Working With Cult London Producer SOPHIE?

Signs point to yes.

Since releasing her last studio album ANTI, Rihanna has been unusually quiet on the music front, leave her Calvin Harris-produced smash, "This Is What You Came For." To celebrate the LP's one-year anniversary this weekend, Rihanna shared a sea imagery onto Instagram with the hashtag #ANTIversary, posting photos of her writing and recording the 2016 full-length.

Included in Rihi's commemoration was a photo of the "Work" singer with cult London producer SOPHIE, though we've yet to hear any official collaboration between the two. In addition to releasing his 2015 debut Product EP, complete with solo singles "Lemonade" and "Hard," SOPHIE has produced "Koi" by Le1f, "Bitch I'm Madonna" by Trump's least favorite protestor and "Vroom Vroom" by Charli XCX.

Having successfully made a name for himself in the underground electronic circuit, SOPHIE has since been inching his way into Top 40 pop territory, slated to release a full collaborative album with Charli XCX later this spring. So where's Rihanna's SOPHIE-produced synth masterpiece? Did she decide to shelve the track or does she have, we desperately hope, an Anti Pt. II in the works? We couldn't think of a better musical match.
