Tommy Bahama Releases New Fragrance, Compass

By James Kim

Take the beach to the streets.

On a private yacht right off the coast of Manhattan, Tommy Bahama hosted a dinner party this week to celebrate the launch of their new men's scent, Compass. With hints of earthy cedarwood, subtle undertones of citrus and a dash of lavender, the fragrance replicates the spirit of the islands with a modern twist. While the cedarwood emerges as the most prominent note in the fragrance, the bright pops of lemon and grapefruit alleviate the musky quality of the cedar, bringing a youthful spice to the aroma. The combination of woodsy and fruity ingredients also allows for an easy day-to-night transition, whether it be a casual weekend stroll along the beach or a swanky night out on the town.
