The interior design company is ready to improve your abode and your life.

Design rookies, listen up! Homepolish is here to make interior design a simple, collaborate--and dare we say fun--process. Whether you are totally clueless about design or simply need a little extra support and direction, Homepolish will sync you up with an interior designer who knows your taste better than you do.

We previosuly chatted with Homepolish founder Noa Santos and his partner about striking a life-balance through design. Santos' approach to his company embodies a similar MO. But for those tentative about having an expert enter their home and prescribe a makeover, keep in mind that Homepolish draws from a pool of 500+ designers all with specialties and unique talents. The consultation ifree, so there are only good things to be gained (like a snazzy new shopping list!).

This Homepolish makeover boasts rustic finishes (like that wood nightstand and metal desk) alongside homey details (carpets are essential!). And that black-and-white photo wall...to die. Photos by Tessa Neustadt.

A Homepolish meeting starts with a diagnoses of your space. A designer will visit you at your home and ask for a walkthrough. Then you'll tackle some big questions: How do you feel about the art? The floor space? Is there a piece of furniture missing or is their simply too much furniture? How would you describe your design aesthetic and are you fulfilling that vision?

You and your designer will sit down and ponder these life questions about your home. The consultation offers a helpful overarching strategy to a redesign, before you narrow down your focus. You'll be introduced to various online resources that complement your taste, but also open up your options. You'll be told all the good spots to shop for antiques, affordable prints, mason jar lightbulbs, anything you can think of. You will also be given access to Homepolish's Shopping List, a list of retailers that you will give you a discount (and these are places you actually like...West Elm, Restoration Hardware, Crate & Barrell, etc.).

Warm contemporary design is this project's MO. Plants provide great contrast against natural woods, mid-century charm, and framed photos. Photos by Claire Esparros.

After your consolation, it's up to you whether you want to tackle your project solo or continue to use your designer's resources and expertise by the hour.
