Perhaps best-known for their work on the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack (one of the main themes from which was used in the Lord of the Rings trailers and the trailer for the new Danny Boyle film, Sunshine), the Kronos Quartet is a Grammy-winning powerhouse in classical musical circles. An all-strings quartet, Kronos hit UCLA Live's Royce Hall with experimental sextet, Bang On a Drum All-Stars, on Saturday, January 20.

I'd first heard of Leather Camp during a Nerve editorial meeting. Leather Camp is a five-day retreat in which extremely kinky people from the United States and abroad get together and enact their wildest fantasies. The idea was that I would attend and report back on the scene. Michael Martin was initially lukewarm about the idea, but I shot the organizer an e-mail expressing an interest in joining in anyway.

  • Entertainment Oscars 25 Gayest Moments

After last year's Brokeback bonanza, it's easy to dismiss the 2007 Oscars as, well, not so gay. But we'll still be glued to our sets on Sunday, February 25 at 8 p.m. (5 p.m. PST!) to watch the gowns, listen for glaring speech omissions (thank you, Hilary Swank), and pray Joan Rivers asks Leo about his star-making turn in Letters from Iwo Jima (hey, it could happen). In honor of this year's 79th annual event, we thought we'd take a look back (chronologically) at Oscar's gayest moments over the years. 1970

TELEVISION The Agency (premiering Feb. 20 on VH1) This sizzling new reality show follows the bookers at the Wilhelmina Agency'one of the biggest modeling agencies in the world. Thanks to their 'ber-huge men's division, there's plenty of man candy in each episode (only in the modeling world can a gay man demand a straight guy take his shirt off and no one bats an eye), and the bookers are hilarious. It's cattier than America's Next Top Model! The Big Gay Sketch Show (to premiere 2007 on Logo)
