It would seem that Burberry Prorsum's golden boy slash creative director Christopher Bailey was unmistakably influenced by two different aspects of James Cameron's winter blockbuster Avatar. Unfortunately, one of them was not in fact the color of the alien Na'avi's skin, or else this post would be called "Blueberry London," wouldn't it? A real shame.

There was no VMA-style blood-soaked noose-dangling at last night's Grammy Awards, but Lady Gaga didn't fail to deliver in her performance with Sir Elton John -- or in her array of Armani-designed outfits. In case you missed it, here's a recap of our favorite looks, from the Miss Some Other Planet frock she rocked on the red carpet to her "look what the smoke monster dragged in" ensemble to the relatively demure (from the front at least) Swarovski-bedazzled mini-dress.

Raf Simons is a designer's designer. Much as we still look to the likes of Rei Kawakubo and Muccia Prada for design innovations, Raf continues to pull his weight in this arena by continually transforming the details. On Entering Galerie nationale du Jeu de Paume at Place du la Concorde, perhaps one of Paris' most incredible locations, once couldn't help but notice the soundtrack being played was 'Blue' by La Tour, most famously known from the lesbian club scene in Basic Instinct which was a comical juxtaposition. The

Versace is probably the only house that can manage to change the theme -- and the cut -- of the menswear season after season. Somehow, it still manages to be very Versace. The key to Versace is glamour, so even if you are a Tron-inspired biker with figure hugging patent pants and detailed leather biker jackets. As Versace was this season, or djellaba wearing eastern sophisticate as it was last season the key is to be sexy. That said, Versace really did seem to evolve in a positive direction for fall. Leather jackets seemed brand appropriate.
