If there is one thing we definitely need more of, it's places to shop. ASOS, Britain's largest online web destination for fashion-hungry consumers, is finally opening an e-commerce shop 'specially for us Yanks. Not that you haven't already been shopping there (over 200,000 registered users of the online boutique are based in the United States), but now you don't have to convert Euros to dollars to figure out how much you're paying for that jumper -- er -- sweater, rather.

In America, we often think of New York, London, Milan and Paris as the hubs of fashion, but it would be naivé to discount the numerous other offerings that many an international city has to contribute. Exotic locales from Shanghai to Stockholm now have catwalks, front-rows and fabulous parties to prove that they, too, are in the game.
