Designer Consuelo Castiglioni continued her theme of functional, covetable clothing, this time in with a somber palette.

Men, for the most part, leave opulent sartorial superfluity for the ladies. Sparkles and embellishments are generally avoided, even in the gay community. But Swarovski is asking to reconsider the flickering, shining excesses of fashion for their latest iteration for Swarovski Elements. After all, while utility and practicality may be the foundation of fashion, that is in no way an excuse to deprive yourself of the more ornamental joys of dress.

When it comes to cover girls, Vogue is very selective. It's your usual mix up of more mature Hollywood royalty, included gals like Gwenyth, Angelina, Cate, and the like. Of late, though, Anna and her team at 4 Times Square has been casting an eye on the younger generation of emerging actresses. Anne Hathaway, Blake Lively and Carey Mulligan have made the cut, ushering in more ingenue-like cover girls. Well, it seems like Anna just keeps getting hipper and hipper these days, no?
