We intercepted Out's deputy editor Bill Keith's Christmas wish list to Santa. Here's what he's hoping for this year:

Oh my! Usually, when high-end brands release their ads, they're eye-popping, to be sure, but also filled to the brim with luxe, fabulous clothing and must-have accessories. Not so for Ms. Donatella Versace. Instead, when she chose to feature Mad Men star January Jones (the icy Betty Draper), she figured that showing off her best assets did not include covering them up.

Last night the French Institute-Alliance Française awarded Marc Jacobs with the Trophée des Arts award. Anna Wintour presented it to him and basically barfed glitter and puppy dogs all over him about what a swell guy he is.

It seems that, of late, Opening Ceremony's main focus has been nothing less than world domination.

It's cold here in New York, which means we've been piling on the jackets, scarves, sweaters, gloves, thick socks, thermals and boots. You're not likely to find a single speck of skin showing. But in the world of Emporio Armani, minds are always on flesh. The label is notorious for their steamy underwear ads and they've chosen their newest model to show of the goods. They'll be replacing soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo with tennis champion Rafael Nadal.

Rumor has it that Kanye West will be wearing Balmain for his next tour. Go figure.

Our prays have been answered! A Thelma & Louise reunion!

The hipster-era is slowly fading. Need proof? New York's Max Fish is closing its doors.

We know you've all been waiting, white-knuckled and hearts a-thumping, to hear which hue Pantone would name as color of the year. We sure know we were. Well, the Academy Awards of colors has named Honeysuckle as the color of 2010. To the victor go the spoils! Congratulations! Now, when we first read this we thought that for sure Honeysuckle would be some sort of warm, orange-y shade, but oh no! It's all pink-y. Regardless, we hope Honeysuckle goes out tonight and parties like a rock star.

We're not going to pull any punches with this. We've never been huge followers of womenswear label Ports 1961. Sorry, but it's true. That's not to say it isn't a great brand with terrific looking clothes, we've just never paid it much mind. But a quick peek at this morning's WWD made us think that we'd been a bit to hasty with our indifference. It seems that the folks at Ports have boys on the brain (don't we all?). The label announced that they will be unveiling their first menswear collection for Fall 2011.
