Burberry, while consistently desirable, is so self-referential that its rare to see a show that raises an eyebrow. Let's admit it, while Christopher Bailey is an incredibly talented designer and so thoroughly understands how to make a heritage brand relevant to young people, most of his collections are based on the iconic Burberry trench. Hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. But the elements must have been on Bailey's mind for fall, as there was hardly a traditional trench in site.
