May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, and it couldn't be more expertly timed, if you ask us. While it's not blazingly hot out quite yet, its warm enough that everyone is (finally) starting to shed some clothing and showing off their hot bods. But shedding the clothing means you're also exposing yourself to harmful UV rays (there are two different types, but you'll learn all about that in a minute). Sorry to be a buzz kill, but its true.

Forgive us, as we haven't been to a baby shower in quite some time now, but what, exactly is happening at Victoria Beckham's party for her soon-to-be offspring? The designer and diva tweeted this picture over the weekend. At least you know that girlfriend can work a fierce stare even when wrapped in toilet paper and flowers.

Ah, denim. It's the core of every man's -- and woman's -- wardrobe. Finding the perfect pair of jeans is like finding the fountain of youth, and when you do, you better snatch up as many pairs as you can. We favor A.P.C.'s Petit Standard. When we first bought them, the sales clerk lectured us about the fit. He insisted we buy a pair that was a size smaller than the one that we felt comfortable in.

The Alexander McQueen exhibition set record numbers on its opening day, coming in only second to the Met's 2005 show dedicated to Vincent Van Gogh. If only McQueen had cut off his ear.

Often thought of as the intellectual's designer label, Comme des Garçons is at times perplexing, ugly, garish, confusing, repulsive, kitschy, quirky but always totally amazing. Designer Rei Kawakubo doesn't care about making pretty frocks for socialites, she cares about making interesting, thought-provoking clothing. And the clothes can cost a pretty penny, too.
