If there are two things that we've learned about Kenneth Cole over the years it's that he A) is a very active advocate of equality, AIDS awareness and various other social issues, something he is very vocal about and B) he sure loves a pun.

Marc Jacobs is Meryl Streep. Huh? Well, if Streep dabbled in clothing, not crying, that is. This Monday the designer will pick up the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award in addition to seemingly requisite nomination for Best Womenswear Designer of the Year, which he has won 9 times before, making him America's fashion golden-boy with a track record that only the most celebrated of actresses could appreciate.

For those of you who thought that all the terrific sales took place from Friday to Monday, think again. Mr. Porter (who, by this point -- though we have no idea what he looks like, we are totally crushing on) has announced that he is cutting prices, from 30% - 50%, starting today. That's right --post-Memorial Day!
