Truman Says

"I always said I wanted to have children. And as I got a little bit older, Richard, who I live with – we’ve been together 24 years – did not want children. And so I decided not to have children. But if I have children, no one will know about it until the child is born. And no one will ever see the child because I certainly wouldn’t use it as a press tool. If I have a child, you won’t notice that I had a child.

Cate Blanchett attended Armani Privé's fall 2011 couture show yesterday and, of course, she look ah-mazing. She wore a modified piece from his spring 2011 couture collection which was like an intergalactic mushroom trip. Cate toned it down a notch, and looked fab. We do wish she wore the saucer hat, though. Ah well.

While young girls across the country swoon over the mop-headed pop sensation Justin Bieber, that enthusiasm doesn't seem to extend to magazine readers. Our mornings would be so much better if our local barista looked like this.

All day long we are cocooned, draped, swathed, cloaked, covered and enveloped by clothing. In the winter we pile on the layers to protect us, but the summer is often a delicate balance of staying cool and staying appropriate.

Androgyny has been one of those connecting threads that weaves itself in and out of fashion from time to time -- from David Bowie to Andrej Pejic -- but there was certainly a full embracing of it at the Paris men's shows. Do we think that suddenly you'll see dudes walking the streets of Manhattan in a full-length maxi-skirt anytime soon? Probably not, when four influential designers show boys in skirts all in the same season, it's at least worth mentioning.
