Truman Says

Fresh from the lips of our fashion editor Brent Coover, we bring you our thoughts on the runway looks from spring 2012. First up is Burberry

"Burberry had very quirky quality reminiscent of Marni, which is a departure for such a traditional brand. A lot of grunge influences -- the knits were lovely and the outerwear was superb, as always. Loving the strong prints and colors -- there was a pair of navy ikat-print pants we must have -- and the use of mustard was divine. Overall, fun and beautiful."

Ah, yes. The subtle hints that indicate that summer is officially here are trickling in. Invitations to rooftop bar-b-ques are filling our inbox. The Hamptons Jitney and Fire Island Ferry are packed with urbanites desperate to escape the city. Men are sporting flip-flops and proving how desperately in need they are for a pedicure. Armpit stains. But perhaps the most definitive evidence frames the doors of Soho's Hollister store.

As you're well aware, we are swoon for Duckie Brown. Not only do they craft both slick classics and wildly inventive clothing (and, as we've mentioned, they're adding womenswear to their roster) but they are quite possibly the funniest duo working in the biz.

Justin Timberlake regrets admits to some fashion regrets, namely getting cornrows and wearing a denim suit to match Britney Spears

As if we needed any more reasons not to move to Iran, they now have fashion police enforcing a dress code that bans men from wearing necklaces, shorts or sporting "glamorous hairstyles."
