Oh, Marc Jacobs. There's no denying that the man has the Midas Touch -- everything he does is instantly desirable and newsworthy. He's regarded as one of the most intelligent designers currently working, has a cadré of celebrity fans, and you, dear readers, just recently voted him one of the best dressed gay men, kilts and all. In addition to his keen eye for design, the man is a master of public relations.

More from today's showroom visits. This time for the Burkman Bros -- who, as we mentioned, just launched ecommerce. Legendary labels like Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, and Dior all show there -- to name only a few. In addition to the usual hubbub a new name has piqued the interest of the fashion tribes: Kanye West.

One public figure who you'd never really imagine running  these sorts of errands, though, is the President or the First Lady. It's not because they'd think its beneath them...its just that they seem too busy, you know, running the country and all that jazz.

We've always adored how Tom Ford's perfumes and colognes smelled....never in a million years could we have guessed their origins.....

Naysayers beware! Those who have brushed off the androgynous wonder that is male model Andrej Pejic as a passing fad should know that the gender-bender has been invited to meet Queen Elizabeth II at an upcoming royal reception. He's already made waves in the fashion industry for walking in both men's and women's shows and modeling clothing for both sexes in various editorials, but a royal invitation is taking it to a whole new level.

Anyone who has even the slightest interest in fashion knows that Alexander Wang is the go-to guy for cool, sleek, urban clothing  -- a hit with his coterie "it" girls. Every lass living below 14th Street waits with baited-breath to see what slutty-sporty creations stride down his runway.
