Boxer shorts are an unshakable classic, but if you're not the athletic type, wearing a pair of ill-fitting shorts will instantly make you look like a 12-year-old in a mini skirt. Since 2012, American bodywear brand Yuasa has been on a mission to re-invent the loungewear staple and make it look more flattering for any body shape.
Designed using less fabric to achieve better proportions, their boxer shorts are made in a light cotton poplin that is both breathable and comfortable. A woven cotton placket and a thin elastane waistband keep your undies in place for a secure fit, while you enjoy the delights of letting everything loose under your jeans. The collection comes in a range of muted colors --easy to pair with your bed sheets.
Founder Michael Yuasa has also worked with distinguished visual artists to produce original campaigns for his brand. The latest spring campaign was shot by Remi Lamande (above, see the full campaign here), and last season, we enjoyed watching models Daniel Hamaj and Sasha Reheylo getting their fitness on in Yuasa boxer shorts for photographer Eric Reeves.
