The CFDA has officially recognized the growing influence of Instagram on the fashion community by introducing the first-ever CDFA Fashion Instagrammer of the Year award.
It will be up to the public and followers to vote for this year's nominees: Until May 30th, show support for your favorite Instagram account by simply adding your 'like' to the pictures featuring the hashtag #MYCFDA.
Here are the eight finalists:
Patrick Janelle
With over 100k followers on Instagram, the director of Spring Street Social Society has made his made his mark on social media thanks to his laidback approach to all things fashion and lifestyle.

Donald Robertson
Robertson's colorful blend of pop culture and high fashion has put him on the map, and the fashion world has taken notice. He's already been featured in Vanity Fair, the New York Post, and Vogue.

Doug Abraham has amassed close to 5k Instagram followers with his fantastically wild concepts. Combining vintage imagery with high-end fashion campaigns and pop culture references, he's created something unlike any other Instagram page.

Jasnowski's charmingly, scenic take on fashion has taken her 49k followers by storm. In a sea of overly saturated and filtered pictures, its Jasnowski's simplicity that has made her stand out.
