If you watch The Face, Oxygen's modeling competition, you already know that Naomi Campbell is the queen of shady smirks and sassy comebacks. And when she was asked about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's controversial Vogue "kover" on Australia's The Morning Show on Monday, la Campbell tried to bite her tongue and keep the library closed.
She really tried.
But she couldn't hold back.
*LOLz*
After initially declining to comment, Naomi bursted into laughter and explained: "I've been working for 28 years, and when you get a Vogue cover it's a build in your career; it's a stepping stone to achieve that. I'm a fashion model, what more can I say?"
A picture is worth a thousand words, right Naomi?
When the host asked if she really meant to say "Kim and Kanye haven't earned the right to be on the cover of Vogue," the supermodel threw the ball back at Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour:
"I'm being politically correct," Campbell added. "That's Anna Wintour's choice to put them on the cover of her magazine."
Nuff said.
