Glasses are a curse to some, but for me, they're a treat. I'm shortsighted and I have a very small prescription to see things from far away, but sometimes I like to throw on a pair of frames just to add a bit of pizzazz to my outfit.
Although I don't wear my frames everyday, I happen to have six pairs --yes, six. It might seem a bit strange to own so many pairs of glasses when I don't even wear them everyday, but what I love about it is their ability to change a whole look instantly. If I wear my thin wire frames, as opposed to my big chunky tortoise shell frames, a tweed blazer suddenly becomes more Yale than Lower East Side. It's fun to keep the collection growing, and I never throw a pair out: You never know when that Harry Potter look will be en vogue again!
