From intern to creative director, Scott's a fashion success

Jeremy Scott, former intern at Moschino, declared via Twitter that he'd be the new creative director of the label, replacing Roseall Jardini who held the title since 1994. Scott's successfully climbed the style ranks and gives hope to all fashion minions out there.

"It's kind of a fairy-tale story," Scott told Style.com. "I was the [Moschino] intern, and now I'm running the company." In other words: Be nice to your interns, power-fiends.

Moschino, founded by Franco Moschino in 1983, is known for bringing laughs and surreality to fashion. The label's delivered high quality goods with whimsy and wearable designs (checkout their Spring 2014 collection).

"For me, one of the key elements of Moschino is humor," Scott added. "It's one of the few houses that has humor, and it's the same thing for me. Another one of the bonding elements is their written messages that express thoughts and twist ideas. We share an obsession with poking fun at fashion." Scott hopes to honor Franco's legacy and retain the brand's edge.

As of late, the fashion world's seen its fair share of shifts in leadership: Not only has Scott taken hold of Moschino, but Jil Sander has left her namesake brand for personal reasons. We're sending g'luck vibes to them both.
