Brooks Brothers and Tiffany's launch exclusive collections inspired by 'The Great Gatsby'

Move over Mad Men, Baz Luhrmann's new film is set to shift the highlight of men's fashion from the '60s to the '20s -- moving muses from Don Draper to Jay Gatsby and Nick Carraway.

To give you a jolt on your wardrobe transition, Brooks Brothers has collaborated with Catherine Martin, the Oscar-winning costume designer of The Great Gatsby, to release a limited edition menswear line of over 50 pieces inspired by the Roaring Twenties.

Tuxedos, tailored shirts, suiting separates (sport coats, waist coats, and trousers), and ties were given a slightly more modern take than the original designs for the film, using lighter fabrics. Highlights include an aplin green shawl cardigan ($148) mirroring the one worn by Tobey Maguire (Nick Carraway), and the Spectator wing tips in white and brown calf leather ($598). Jay Gatsby's (Leonardo Dicaprio) iconic pink linen suit (jacket $698; pants $298) and beechwood walking cane ($148) are also part of the line.

The collection, which took three years to develop, will be available in stores and online on April 15 for only six weeks. The Brooks Brothers New York flagship store on Madison Avenue will also display the original costumes from the film, which will then move to its Beverly Hills location on Rodeo Drive, and continue on to London and Tokyo.

Your Gatsby lineup does not stop with Brooks Brothers, as Tiffany's, another partner of the film, has also released a line of Art Deco jewelry and accessories. Add '20s flair to your tuxedo with green or black enamel oval cuff links ($350), and a signet ring of black onyx in sterling silver ($650) that was inspired by an elaborate daisy pattern retrieved from archives.
