Always sharply dressed to convey a slightly old-fashioned vibe at a time when leather and denim ruled,
the Mods mixed influences from American jazz, French existentialism, and the Beat generation artists.
They rocked razor-cut bobs and took pride in their polished appearance, dressed in impeccable suits
and button-down shirts, with carefully-selected accessories. It is then that Bowie met dancer Lindsay Kemp
who introduced him to the art of mime and more avant-garde performance styles...
