Bored this weekend? Check out our recommendations if you find yourself in beautiful New York.

Grooming: Sign-up for a straight-razor shaving class
In addition to being one of the best dressed men in New York, master barber Michael W. Haar handles the cut-throat like nobody else. Less daunting than it seems, a straight-razor shave presents the advantage of reducing skin irritation, and it also makes one feel very butch. Sign up online at FSCBarber .com
'Cut Throat 101' at Barber & Supply (101 North 8th St, Brooklyn; 718-522-4959). Every first Sunday of the month. $100 per student, includes a disposable straight razor, product samples, and 25% off shaving supplies at dismissal.

Culture: Last chance to see 'The Art of Scent' at the Museum of Art and Design
Fragrance aficionados, don't miss this interactive retrospective on perfume creation. Curator Chandler Burr hand-picked twelve of the most seminal fragrances ever made, such as Guerlain's Jicky and Chanel Ndeg5, to present an evolution of scents from 1899 to today.
'The Art of Scent' at the Museum of Art and Design (2 Columbus Circle; 212-299-7777). Through March 3. $15, $12 reductions.

Fashion: Shop for less at Housing Works and Odin
The annual 'Best of Spring' sale kicks off this Saturday at all Housing Works branches across the city.
A selection of vintage clothes, furniture and artworks will be presented at half the usual retail price, and proceeds go towards helping people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. If you're not into antiques, head East to Odin's sample sale: up to 75% off the price tag on designer pieces by the likes of Duckie Brown, Alexander Wang and Armando Cabral. Need we say more?
Housing Works 'Best of Spring' (locations vary; check website for hours and directions). Through March 30. Odin Sample Sale (330 East 11th St, between 1st and 2nd Ave; 212-475-0075). Through March 11.
