The Vikings punter has seen his fame rise since his open letter to Maryland Delegate Emmet Burns Jr. We even featured him on our November cover of Out (read the story here) and featured him shirtless (as many a female CNN anchor is quick to point out). As you recall, Kluwe wrote: "I can assure you that gay people getting married will have zero effect on your life. They won't come into your house and steal your children. They won't magically turn you into a lustful cockmonster."
Kluwe later wrote a G-rated version of the letter, snarkily calling Burns a "Beautifully Unique Sparkle Pony."
Tracy Call, founder of Minnesotans for Equality says people have been asking them to make shirts since the letters were published. "We were just getting tons of requests for it," she says. "People were saying, 'You've got to make a T-shirt, these are hysterical quotes.'"
Call worked with Kluwe to pick out the most captivating excerpts from the letter. "I don't even know if they're adjectives or nouns," she says.
